Als in Australien geborene Schweizer Künstlerin habe ich vielleicht eine ungewöhnliche Perspektive auf das Leben in der Schweiz. Das Malen ermöglicht es mir, den Spagat zu machen zwischen meiner Arbeit als Notfallärztin, drei Kindern und einem Beziehungsnetzwerk über mehrere Kontinente hinweg. Eindrücke und Emotionen kann ich damit verarbeiten. Diese Ausstellung ist der nächste logische Schritt auf meiner Kunstreise.

As an Australian born Swiss artist, I perhaps have an unusual perspective on life in Switzerland. Juggling three children, shift work as an emergency physician and a network spanning multiple continents, painting gives me the focus to sift through those emotions that can get „in the way“. The auto portrait „I paint therefore I am“ is an ode to my younger self and to art. The next logical step is this exhibition. I hope you enjoy it!
