Adresse

Schalberghöhle - Klusstrasse 197, 4147 Aesch, Schweiz
Benjamin and Tanya welcome you to a unique concert experience taking place in some of the most energetically powerful locations around Basel. Through weaving sounds with intuitive vocals and instrumental tools, the duo engages with their intuitive expression using loops and live sounds creating a meditative journey in synchronicity with its environment.  As music is an incredibly powerful tool to connect to ourselves and others, this concert aims to bring awareness to our intuitive wisdom and how places of power can support our ways of connecting to earth, raising the energetic frequency from within our own body. What are power places? Power Places are connecting points of higher electromagnetic frequency on our planet. It is where the gravitational fields are stronger in it’s earthly energy. Power places are locations that often radiate a very special energy. A power that has a positive effect on the mood and well-being of people in its vicinity. In former times, people lived much more connected with nature and therefore, they were more in tune with the language of the earth. Many power spots were often used as ritual grounds or special monuments. Churches or Pyramids are great examples of buildings built on strong vortexes. First location will be in an open cave near the village Aesch outside of Basel. This location is seen to be one of the strongest areas in its frequency around Basel, and is also known for its Archeological finds since 5000 BC. How to find it? By public transport: Take the tram or Bus to Aesch and walk towards Chlus. Follow the path up straight past the farms and then up on the left hill to Schalberg Höhle. It’s a cave right before arriving to an old Castle. By car: Park your car at the parking next to Zürich-Vitaparcour. From there you walk back down to the main road and you follow the path up straight past the farms and then up on the left hill to Schalberg Höhle. It’s a cave right before arriving to an old Castle.   About Benjamin Lindh Medin Growing up in Sweden between culture, performance and spirituality, Benjamin takes his musical influence from many genres. He’s travelled a lot in India and all around the world since very young through both work, studies and inspiration. As dance, music and improvisation was a big part of his life since young age, playing with sounds and tuning into natural wonders of intuitive expression was always present. Benjamin is engaged in intuitive wisdom practices from various ancient traditions and new ways. Call him a Performer, Shaman, Healer or a modern day explorer. This is one of his expressions. About Tanya Zere Even though Tanya has been singing and playing music since her childhood she remembered her true voice while engaging in spiritual practices of the last years. The experience of making her first shamanic drum allowed her to cross the boundaries of ordinary music and enter the realm of intuitive singing and sounding. Since this moment she is very passionate to explore different ways of healing through sound. Her melodies are influenced by her African roots as well as her interest in electronic music - but mainly her tunes come from a memory deep within that goes beyond any rational explanation.
